Jr. High Mathematics
April 16, 2026
Hello everyone. Well........ it's been one heck of a year. Personally, I'm glad to still be here. As many of you know, I suffered a serious health threat this year and was away from school recovering for an extended time. I would like to give all the credit to those who deserve it for keeping the students learning, and for covering for me during my absence. Those people would be Principal Lowe, Assistant Principal Thornburg, Mrs. Milner and the rest of the EJSHS staff. Without their support, I would not be here. Also, the way my students welcomed me back was truly heartwarming.
As for Math Class, the students have worked diligently this year. As a group they have had a lot of success and, yes, some struggles. Overall, I am very pleased with the majority's results. We branched out some at the end of this year by exposing the students to some of next year's learning concepts. This was done to give them a boost or a preview into a few of the learning concepts for the next grade level. Hopefully it won't all float away on a summer breeze while they're out of school, and will at least be familiar to them when they return. I hope it will help them start out on a positive note next year and help them feel more confident.
We've had a lot of success this year, and I am proud of what the students have accomplished.
