Algebra 1 Makes "Stained Glass"
October 30, 2024
Unit 2 of Algebra 1 was focused on Linear Equations. Students Spent the second half of the first quarter learning about the three forms of linear equations: slope-intercept, point-slope, and standard forms. They learned how to write each type of equation from two coordinates, translate between the three forms, and graph from each. At the end of the unit, they showed off their graphing and coloring skills by creating stained glass pieces from transparency paper that will be displayed in my classroom all year!
This is one of my all-time favorite projects, and this year, students knocked the colors and graphing out of the park.
