Nurse's Office
February 25, 2026
It is so hard to believe we are getting very close to the end of the 3rd quarter. It has been a very busy year so far and we expect it to remain busy until the end of the school year. Illness wise, we have been seeing a gastric illness that is presenting itself with vomiting and/or diarrhea. We are also seeing an occasional influenza case usually presenting itself with a headache, body chills and a fever. We are so thankful for our parents who are actively taking a role in the prevention of the spread of illness. We continue to ask that students who are experiencing a fever >100 degrees or vomiting to be fever free for at least 24 hours prior to returning. As we look towards the rest for the school year in the nurse’s office, we plan to finish screenings such as hearing and vision. The Future Smiles program will be at Marshall Elementary on April 2nd to perform dental checks, cleanings, sealants and fluoride treatments. This is an OPT IN program. Information will be given out during parent/teacher conferences in March. We will have sports physicals at the Jr./Sr. High school on May 1st; information will be given out closer to that date. If you have any questions, feel free to call.
