Health office
November 19, 2025
The health offices at both EJSHS and Marshall Elementary have been moderately busy so far this year. We have gotten a great start on our routine screenings (hearing and vision) in both buildings. We plan to continue the required screenings as time permits. We have held our yearly influenza vaccination clinic hoping to help prevent a big outbreak this year. Currently we have been seeing a couple of cases of the stomach bug, a few fever related illnesses and some sore throats that the change in weather always seems to bring. Looking to the future in January (which is right around the corner) we will be holding our annual dental health screenings. More information regarding this will be sent home in the semester grade cards at EJSHS and home with students in the elementary. We really appreciate all the parents being diligent in keeping with our health protocols. We continue to ask that if your child experiences a fever greater than 100 degrees fahrenheit to keep them home for 24 hours after the fever breaks with no use of tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen (Motrin/Advil). If you child has vomited or is experiencing diarrhea please keep them at home to help prevent the spread of these viruses. We are getting to that time of year where illness ramps up with all the gatherings associated with the holidays. (Which we all love and enjoy!) We hope each and every one of you have a spectacular holiday season filled with love and family! Of course, if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to ask. We can be reached at either the HS or Marshall offices.
