Building Strong Foundations Through Real-World Skills
In sixth grade, we have an exciting year of growth. Students begin to go beyond basic arithmetic and learn how to use their math skills to solve real-world problems. This year, our class has been working hard on several key concepts from the 6th-grade math standards, including rates and ratios, percentages, greatest common factors, least common multiples, and dividing and multiplying fractions. These concepts will prepare students for higher-level math in the years ahead. We celebrate their hard work and problem-solving skills that will help them throughout their academic careers and daily lives. Sixth-grade math isn’t just about numbers- it's about developing thinkers who can analyze, reason, and tackle challenges with confidence. Our students are doing just that every day.
