Mrs. Herb/Building Wide Substitute

As many of you may know I have taken on a different position at Marshall Elementary School this year.
I am a Building Wide Substitute. :)
I feel blessed to be able to help out my co-workers and work with all the students at Marshall Elementary. I get to see the students I taught in prior years, experience the growth they have made academically and it is a wonderful. So far this year I have Subbed in Pre-K, First Grade, Fourth Grade, Fifth Grade, Sixth Grade, Music and Art and stepped in for Paras as well if they were needing the time off.
Getting the opportunity to assist the teachers and to work with all of the students has been great, and I have really enjoyed it so far. No day is boring! I might begin in one grade and move to another later on in the day. It keeps me hoppin' and on my toes for sure, but that is a great thing. The best part of my position is helping students gain confidence in their academics, working with them during their reading and math groups, and helping them build their skill set. I have also enjoyed the relationships created with both my co-workers and all students.
