Before I say anything else in this article, I hope you read the title and took it to heart.
The transition to working in Eureka was definitely a change for me and my family, but I can honestly say it has been a change for the better. I was nervous about working at Marshall AND EJSHS as it was new to me. I was nervous about working with students younger and older than I have worked with previously. All that nervousness was good for me. Coming in and being embraced by the school, my co-workers, students, parents, and the community has been a breath of fresh air. I am in awe of how each building runs so smoothly and the great staff in both buildings. There have been many opportunities for collaboration, fun, and support so far and I am learning where to turn when I need help. I am so thankful for this transition and the growth I have experienced so far.
Thank you for welcoming me and my family into Tornado Nation and showing us the Eureka Way.
