Early Childhood and Preschool News

Preschool News

Early Childhood and Preschool had Family Fun Day last Wednesday, April 16th. The preschoolers sang three songs for their family members.  They performed Really Great Reading Alphabet, Herman the Worm and Danny Go Millipede Dance.  Following the songs they decorated paper houses and planted grass in bowls to make their front lawn.  The families enjoyed lemonade and cookies and finished the day playing outside on the playground.  We had so much fun sharing what the children have learned with their letters and sounds, the fun songs and activities.  We want to thank the family members for coming and showing your child how important school and learning really are.

The end of school is approaching and we are going to cherish our short time that we have with your child before summer.  We have completed the alphabet, learned most of our numbers to 20 and so much more!  We have grown in our social and play skills, learned about caterpillars, seasons, holidays, and so much more!  Please continue to challenge your child to grow this summer through books, conversations, games, play and minimal technology.  The early years are so important in developing future leaders that have amazing social abilities and they need your guidance and support along the way.

Thank you for sharing your child with us this year!

Mrs. Harrison & Ms. Evenson
