1st 9 Weeks Wrap Up

Can you believe we have already been back in school 9 weeks?? We have been busy getting in the swing of 3rd grade, such a big adjustment for the kids. We celebrated Family Fun Night a couple weeks ago with students and their families joining us for some cookies, beverages, a stem activity, a PE activity, and several songs we’ve been practicing with Mrs. Neill. We’ve completed our first full module of Math. We are learning lots of new concepts within our second module. Students have been practicing composing and decomposing kilograms to grams and liters to milliliters. With conferences fast approaching, students have spent time over the last week practicing, so they are prepared to show their parents. We are looking forward to showing parents everything we have been learning so far this year. To wrap up the 1st 9 weeks, we will be celebrating this Friday with an AR party. Students who meet 100% of their goal will get to have some fun painting a pumpkin!
