October 27, 2026
After a season full of learning, growth, and a whole lot of volleyball, the Eureka JH “A” Team wrapped up their season at the TVL Tournament on Saturday, October 17th — and they made sure to go out fighting!
The day started with a tough three-set loss to Bluestem, 23-25, 25-23, 9-15. But instead of letting that loss define their day, these girls did what they’ve learned to do all season: reset, come together, and keep fighting.
They battled their way back through the bracket with wins over:
🏐 Fredonia: 25-14, 25-14
🏐 Cherryvale: 18-25, 25-23, 15-7
🏐 Bluestem: 27-25, 25-23 — getting some redemption in the rematch!
Their tournament run eventually came to an end against Caney, 22-25, 14-25, but there was absolutely nothing left to give. These girls played hard, fought for one another, and left it all on the court.
More than the wins and losses, I’m proud of how much this group grew throughout the season. They learned to communicate, trust each other, battle through tough moments, and — most importantly — play as a team.
What a way to finish the season. ❤️🏐💙
So proud of these girls and the team they became. Go Tornadoes! 🌪️
