Mrs. Henry's Class Escaped To Thanksgiving Break!

Each year in Mrs. Henry's class, students get to participate in an escape room activity where groups synergize to complete five challenges. The 'Cool Turkey' has locked the kids up at the 'Emoji Turkey Farm' and informed them that only one group will get to escape if they can complete the challenges to find the key. Each challenge has reading comprehension activities and leads the group to a clue word that determines where the hidden key is located in the room. This activity is a great opportunity for kids to show their leadership skills and work in a group to think win-win. Only one group gets to escape to Thanksgiving break! This year, our group that escaped was Ella, Mazzy, Carson, Averie, and Maelyn! They each recieved a prize and a nametag that said 'I escaped the Emoji Turkey Farm'.
