All the fun in Kinder!

We have been working hard this first nine weeks in Kindergarten! We've been working on learning our letters and sounds, as well as forming them correctly. We have even started to read words! Please continue to work with your child on the red words and heart words that we send home each week as this is a big help in the classroom. We have been working on identifying verbs and nouns. Now we are working on sentence structure they are doing an awesome job!
We just finished our apple week, which was so much fun. We tried lots of different apple foods, learned about Johnny Appleseed, and even made our own cinnamon apples in the crockpot! We have now started our plant unit in science learning about living and nonliving, students go to plant a seed last week and are excited to see what will grow. Students have been watering their seeds as well as making sure the seeds are left in the sun so that they have everything they need. Thank you again for all of your work at home, we appreciate it!
