The 2024-2025 Student Lighthouse Team at Marshall Elementary has great ideas to improve our school. A "Student Lighthouse Team" is a group of students grades 4-6 selected for their leadership qualities.These individuals actively promote a positive school culture by embodying the "Leader in Me" principles. Often the initiatives include community service, school spirit building,and modeling responsible b ehavior,essentially acting as shining examples for their peers and representing the school in a positive light.We have earned the distinguished honor of a “Lighthouse School”, there are only seven in the state of Kansas and we are the only small, rural school to have earned this honor. They synergize to have a positive impact on students, staff, families and the community.
The members of our team are Stella Shivers, Hank, Paislee, Brylee, Charlie, Cooper, Preston, Brystle, Molly, Franny, Bronwyn, Mia, Braxtyn, Jessn, and Kasen. Mrs. Cross and Mrs. Neill have the pleasure of leading this team.
