Garden Club

This year Marshall Elementary started families and clubs. Students got to choose their top three choices of clubs they wanted to be a part of. Myself and Mrs. Mica Coulter was in charge of the Garden Club.
We chose to start the Garden Club at Marshall Elementary School because we have a long passion for plants. It all started when my grandparents wanted to get rid of a metal structure in their backyard. Now we have a functional Greenhouse that the students and teachers are welcome to use at any time during the school year. \
We had a couple student Lighthouse team members come to us and ask us if we could grow plants and flowers for the Outdoor Learning Center. Students spent a lot of time outside cleaning up the Outdoor Learning Center. For the little time that we met we got a lot of work done. We still have a ways to go. I was happy to hear some students tell me that they wanted to join the Garden Club again next year.
