The 2024 Track Team has several standouts for both the boys and girls teams. On the girls side Soph. Rose Buck continues her assault on the record books. She moves into #2 all time in the 800m with a time of 2:26.41 behind EHS great Esmeralda Ibarra's time of 2:22.78. Buck also holds school records in both the 1600 and 3200 with times of 5:23.71 and 11:41.37 respectively. Sophomore Britta Mongeau also moves into the #9 spot in the 1600m with a time of 6:04.05. Mongeau is currently #8 all time in the 3200 with a time of 13:13.65.
On the boys side TJ Mills has exploded onto the scene in the sprints. TJ's 11.03 in the 100m puts him #5 all time and his time of 22.99 in the 200m gets him on the board at #11. Sophomore Peyton Hare also ran the 10th fastest 400m all time at 53.00. The boys 4x100m also ran the 10th fastest time of 45.52. That team is made up of Sophomores TJ Mills, Peyton Hare, Ben Ketchum, and Jr. Laken Valentine.
