Fun Times in First Grade

1st graders recently finished up their Matter and Mixture Unit. During the unit, they learned the difference between solids, liquids, and gasses and ways matter can change from one form to another. Students went on scavenger hunts to find matter pictures and determined which type of matter the items were. To finish the unit, students got to experiment with Ooblick.
We are now moving into our Past and Present unit, which will give students an insight into what they will see at our upcoming field trip to Cowtown on Oct. 10th.
