Winter Wonderland in 5th Grade!

December 19, 2023

Dear Families,

We hope you're doing well as we approach the much-anticipated winter break. We have some important announcements and updates to share with you:

Important Announcements:

  • Winter break will begin on December 20th, and students will resume classes on January 4th. We hope you all enjoy this time with your loved ones and recharge for the new year ahead.

  • Christmas parties will be held on December 19th. Students can look forward to festive activities and treats shared with their classmates. Please ensure that your child comes dressed in their favorite holiday attire.

  • We are thrilled to invite you to our Christmas Sing-a-long and band concert. Dates and times will be shared soon, so please mark your calendars. We can't wait to showcase the musical talents of our students and spread some holiday cheer together.

Celebrations from the Week:

We had a fantastic week packed with exciting and enriching experiences for our students. Here are some highlights:

  • Our students had the opportunity to attend the magical Nutcracker Ballet. It was a mesmerizing performance, and we were delighted to see our students enthralled by the talented dancers and enchanting storyline.

  • We also visited the City Art Museum, where our students explored various art exhibits. They were exposed to different artistic styles and techniques, sparking their creativity and imagination. Our students learned about foil metal embossed prints by creating one themselves. They created their own stunning pieces, showcasing their artistic skills and attention to detail. We are always amazed by their talent and passion for the arts.

Additional Information:

As we approach Christmas and the end of another year, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude and appreciation for your continued partnership. Your support and involvement in your child's education make a significant difference. We are grateful for your trust in us and look forward to continuing this journey together.

On behalf of the entire school staff, we would like to wish you and your families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May this holiday season be filled with love, joy, and cherished memories.

Thank you once again for being an amazing part of our school community.

Warmest wishes,

Ms. Stephens and Mrs. Thatcher
