5th Grade’s Visit the Flyin’3 Vet Clinic
Do you love animals? Marshall Elementary 5th grade sure does! Veterinarians take care of many animals. It’s important to recognize these people who help our fur buddies. We consider some to be family and good Vets are important. On September 6th, 5th grade students walked the short distance to visit the Flyin’3 Veterinary Clinic located right here in our very own Eureka, KS. On their short visit, they saw animals in surgery and recovery and were able to see dogs, cats, cattle and horses being tended to. 5th grade was shown how different machinery is used to treat animals and even how to take care of some. Veterinarians even help animals with disabilities. 5th grade completed an activity enacting how to give an animal a shot. Using a real syringe and bananas. By using food coloring, they were able to see if their individual shots would have been effective. A short but fun educational trip. Marshall Elementary 5th graders appreciated the time and effort that went into the Flyin ‘3 Veterinary Clinic and Jamie Lindamood.
