Government & World History Update

Government Class Update – So far, our Seniors have developed a Class Government for each of their respected classes and learned about the basics of Government operations. I’m proud to say these classes have been engaged and a pleasure to instruct. These classes also had their first test on Basic Government Operations, our students did very well on their tests and are on their way to being productive citizens in our society. We are starting to look at how our Government handles expansion and I look forward to continuing this journey with them.
World History Update – So far, our Sophomores have covered the Middle Ages & the Renaissance, this was a joy to do with these young kids. Their test on this Unit was very encouraging & I look forward to them applying some of this knowledge to their everyday lives. We are currently in the Industrial Revolution Unit and will be finalizing it this week.
I am really enjoying my time here at USD 389 and look forward to continuing to work with these students.
