Freshman Concluded Health Unit

9th grade students concluded their health unit on December 5th. During this unit students studied many aspects of mental health. Starting with the basic human emotions, self-esteem, and stress management and ending with building healthy relationships.
The overall goal of health is to provide students with information to help them make decisions to make living a healthier lifestyle possible. Medical technology continues to add years to the average life expectancy however it is up to us to make better health choices to make the most out of those added years.
After the new year begins 9th grade students will begin a basketball unit, followed by a pickleball unit. They will also be taking a field trip to El Dorado in February to go bowling.
